Colony of Glass
★★★★☆ 4.1
Colony of Glass puts you in charge of a domed colony on a hostile world. You balance power, oxygen, food and morale while the environment tries to break your careful systems. It is fiddly in the best way.
The tutorial is a little thin, so my first colony collapsed within an hour. My second lasted much longer once I understood the supply chains. There is a genuine learning curve here, and getting good feels rewarding.
It runs quietly in the background of a long session and works well as a slow, thinky game. Not for everyone, but sim fans will find plenty to chew on.
What we liked
- Deep interlocking systems
- Rewarding once it clicks
- Good for long, patient sessions
